Man arrested following fatal collision in Manchester
A 52-year-old pedestrian died
A man's been arrested following a fatal collision in Manchester.
It happened at around 12:30am on Friday morning (17 March), when police were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Wilbraham Road, between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the pedestrian, a 52-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the injuries he sustained.
A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been released on bail.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have footage of the incident - including CCTV or dashcam - to please get in touch.
