Man and 6 year-old girl seriously injured in crash in east Manchester
We are told they were pedestrians when the crash happened on Hyde Road last night
A man and a young girl have been seriously injured after a crash in east Manchester.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Hyde Road at around 6pm last night.
Police say the crash involved two vehicles at the junction with Mount Road, Manchester.
Two pedestrians, a 37-year-old man and a six-year-old girl have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
One vehicle remained at the scene to assist with enquiries.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are also keen to study CCTV or dashcam footage from around the area.
