Cheshire woman surprised to find badger in bathroom
The lady called the Manchester badger group to help out
A woman from Macclesfield had a very unusual surprise when she went to her bathroom in the night, finding a badger having a rest.
The lady called up the South Manchester badger group for help with the unusual dilemma.
The South Manchester badger group said:
"We received a call that was out of our area, Macclesfield in fact. A lady was whispering down the phone that she had woken up to a badger in her bathroom, think we asked about 4 times to clarify it was a bathroom"
The group initally thought it might have been an April fools, but that was not the case!
The group phoned around to find a way to help the badger.
Cheshire badger vaccination programme collected her and she was checked over before being allowed to rest overnight in a luxury pen.
The team then worked to find where abouts the badger had come from
On a post on Facebook they say:
"Meanwhile we spent hours surveying an area that we as a group are not familiar with and located where she had come from. The blisters and cuts were so worth it"
The badger has since been released
