M6 closed in both directions following HGV crash
The M6 is closed between junction 18 and 19 northbound and southbound.

The M6 near Knutsford is shut following a collision involving a tanker and a flatbed truck at around 1pm this afternoon.
Motorists near the scene between junctions 18 and 19 on the northbound and southbound carriageway have been asked to evacuate their vehicle's due to one of the HGV vehicle's leaking.
Approximately 18,000 litres of the unknown chemical has leaked from the tanker.
Emergency services are on the scene and one casualty has been reported in the hands of the paramedics.
There is a full road closure and motorists are advised to avoid the area and find an alternative route if possible.
