Liam Gallagher launches Twitter attack on Noel for One Love no-show
Oasis front man made surprise appearance at charity gig and says brother should have done the same.
If there was ever a sense of Manchester moving towards a feeling of normality after the heartache of the past two weeks then the Gallagher brothers arguing with one another may just be a step in that direction.
Last night’s One Love Manchester concert at Old Trafford cricket ground in aid of the victims of the Arena terror attack, was watched by millions around the world as stars including Justin Beiber, Coldplay, Take That, Robbie Williams, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry wowed the fans.
Ariana Grande, who’s concert was where the terror attack took place, headlined the event, which included a memorable performance by her alongside Parrs Wood school choir.
The night was capped off by a shock appearance by Liam Gallagher who was not on the original advertised line-up and his performance seemed to be in keeping with the theme of Manchester standing together and love conquering all- until around half past eight this morning that is.
Liam took to social media at around 8am to praise the city, then to apologise for his brother Noel’s absence, nothing too critical there, but the following tweet was a tad harsher.
We’ve blanked out the swear words but you should be able to see the gist of Liam’s ire.
Noel has yet to respond.
