Man admits killing a much loved Grandad on a night out in Leigh

A man has admitted killing a much loved Grandad on a night out in Leigh.

57-year-old Paul Ologbose was involved in a row outside the Higher Fold Sports Club in the early hours of the morning on 23rd January.

Paul Brierley, 44, punched the dad of 4, which led him to then fall and bang his head on the floor leaving him in a critical condition. Paul Ologbose died later that day.

Mr Brierley was charged with manslaughter and pleaded guilty to the charge.

The 44-year-old is due to be sentenced in April.
