Former Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Celtic defender Kolo Toure is the new manager of Wigan Athletic.
He joins on a three-and-a-half-year contract after leaving his coaching role at Leicester City.
Toure made over 500 senior appearances during a 15-year playing career.
He'll be assisted by Kevin Betsy and Ashvir Johal.
Rob Kelly will continue as assistant manager.
Wigan sacked Leam Richardson earlier this month after a poor run of form.
The Latics are 22nd in the league table after 21 games.
The Championship season has been paused for a few weeks because of the World Cup.
Toure's first game in charge will be against Millwall on Saturday 10 December.
