It's being organised by CBI North West, in partnership with Irwin Mitchell LLP.

Damian Waters, Regional Director, North West said:

The Metro Mayors are set to become genuine political heavyweights, likely to play an increasingly important role in UK democratic life and they will have significant powers to shape local decision making. This event should help you to make sense of the impact Metro Mayors will have on your local operating environment.

To get to the heart of the issues which matter most to businesses in your area, we will use this platform to share our insight on the most pressing challenges and opportunities CBI members have already identified with us, building on evidence from the CBI’s Unlocking Regional Growth Report, which we launched last December.

This event also offers a great opportunity for networking with peers and policymakers who are shaping the agenda in your area.
