A five-year-old boy has been left with life changing injuries after being hit by a car in Salford.
At 6:45pm on Thursday 27 June police were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Southern Street, Salford, between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
The boy was taken to hospital for further treatment.
His injuries are believed to be life changing.
The vehicle remained at the scene to assist with enquiries.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
Greater Manchester Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, CCTV, or mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
