Andrew Hardy, the father of 15 year-old Olivia Campbell-Hardy who was killed in the Manchester Arena attack has told Key 103 that the launch of a charity in her name is to help youngsters is helping her memory live on.

Liv’s Trust will provide funding for people under 25 who want training and education, especially when it comes to the performing arts.

The Trust officially launches this Saturday just days before what would have been Olivia’s 16th birthday and Andrew says he’s been overwhelmed by the response which has seen dozens of people from across Greater Manchester offer help and support.

Today marks six months since the attack which took the lives of 22 people including Olivia and her dad says as her dream was always to become a teacher, starting a trust in her name to help people learn is something she’d have loved.

The launch of the trust which takes place at 7.30 on Saturday 25th in Bury Town Hall's Elizabethan Suite will feature people who've been an important part of Olivia's life.

Speaking to Key 103, Ragen Ellaway Andrew's cousin and a trustee for the Trust said:

“It was decided early on within days of the attack that we'd start a trust, it was one of Andrew's wishes and we wanted to give something back to Manchester."
