Families continue to remember victims at Manchester Arena inquiry
The public inquiry has heard from the relatives of Georgina Callander, Lisa Lees and Marcin and Angelika Klis on the third day of 'pen portraits'.
43 year old Lisa Lees, Oldham
A mother-of-two murdered by a suicide bomber in the Manchester Arena attack had used her expertise to treat terminally ill children, the public inquiry heard.
Beauty therapist Lisa Lees, 43, from Oldham, was described as an "angel'' who set up an organisation giving aromatherapy and massage treatment to ease the pain of dying youngsters.
Lisa and her friend, Alison Howe, died in the foyer of the Arena while waiting to collect their daughters after the event on May 22, 2017.
Her daughter India's statement described how they would go on shopping trips together, describing her mother as hard working, caring, beautiful and glamorous.
On rainy days they would enjoy, "snuggle days'' spending hours in pyjamas, eating chocolate and watching films together.
Lisa's mum Elaine said "someone very special was taken from us all that day.''
Marcin (42) and Angelika Kliss (39), York
Marcin and Angelika Klis, originally from Poland but who moved to York, died as they waited to pick up their two daughters from the Ariana Grande concernt.
The inquiry heard last week that they had been seen stood with their arms around each other, after entering the City Room just minutes before the bomb went off.
Their daughters paid tribute to them at the public inquiry into the attack.
"We think of our parents all the time, they are never out of our thoughts."
A tribute from their daughters was read by a legal representative, during which the last photo of them was displayed on screens.
The snap of the smiling couple had been taken on the evening of the bombing near the arena as they waited for the concert to finish and collect their daughters from the event.
"Mum and dad's love was incredibly strong, they were so in love as if teenagers without a care in the world.
"Most of all they were happy. They were soulmates and did not want to be without each other.
"Mum and dad were amazing parents and kind people.
"Losing our mum and dad and the pain and loss we feel is so hard to explain."
18 year old Georgina Callander, Chorley
Georgina Callander was an Ariana Grande "superfan" who had a place at university to study paediatrics.
The inquiry was previously told she was placed on an advertising board and carried out of the Arena foyer to be outside Victoria Station.
Her mum Lesley had seen them and rushed over to be by her daughter's side. She spoke about the moment Georgina died in her arms whilst providing her 'pen portrait':
"As I watched a tear rolling down her face and on to my arm, it was a look I felt that she was telling me 'I'm so sorry mummy I guess I'm not going to get through this - I'm not going to make it'."
Lesley spoke openly about the emotional impact her daughter's death has had over the last 3 years, saying she is "paralysed by grief".
"I am and always will be a severely distraught mother, overwhelmed in immense grief with a broken heart in pieces. How am I supposed to put pen to paper as to where I should begin with this living nightmare?"
"My darling Georgina Bethany, I love you. I miss you more than words can say. More than you or anyone will ever know or could possibly understand. This world can hurt me like thunder crashing in the dark, but nothing breaks like my heart."
