Driver crashes into wall during police chase through Trafford
A man in his 30s has been arrested
A driver has been arrested after crashing into a wall during a police chase through Trafford.
Officers were called at around 02:00BST on Monday morning (September 16) to reports of a vehicle being stolen.
They then began a pursuit, with the car crashing into a wall on Upper Charlton Street, which is closed in both directions.
A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle and dangerous driving. He remains in police custody for questioning.
Greater Manchester Police said: "No injuries have been recorded and in line with normal procedure, referrals have been made to GMP’s Professional Standards Directorate."
