Police are carrying out extra patrols after three people were injured
Three people have been treated in hospital for serious injuries after reports of a stabbing in Denton.
Police were called to Yew Tree Road at around 9.30am on Saturday morning to reports of a stabbing.
A woman was taken to hospital for treatment, thankfully her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A further two people police believe may have been involved took themselves to hospital with serious injuries, but they are also not thought to be life threatening.
The force tells us they think it was an isolated incident, adding they don't think there's a wider risk to the public.
Extra patrols will be carried out though to reassure locals.
