Chinese New Year celebrations in Manchester

The annual Chinese New Year parade is taking place in Manchester, Sunday 15th February.

Starting from the junction of Oxford Street and George Street, the parade will make its way along Portland Street, before coming to an end in Chinatown. There will be a final performance on Princess Street.

The parade starts at midday. Hundreds are expected to gather to watch the event.

2026 is the Year of the Horse.
