Campaigners calling for the speed limit to be reduced on one of Manchester's busiest roads say it's a matter of life or death. Sam MacWilliam - secretary of the Princess Road safety campaign wants the speed limit lowered from 40 to 30 miles per hour. The road has seen several deaths including that of Ian O'Mara and his dog Tia who were killed by a coach in November. A public consultation on whether the speed limit will be reduced is underway and Sam William is urging the council to listen to residents and reduce the speed limit on Princess Parkway.
