Members of the public who bravely intervened when a teenager was stabbed in Bury are being urged to get in touch with police
Two teenagers have been arrested after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in Bury.
On Thursday 27 June, at around 2:40pm, police were called to reports that a 16-year-old boy had been stabbed in leg at the junction of Spring Lane and Butterworth Street
Two teenage boys, aged 14 and 16, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.
Police are following several lines of enquiry but are keen to speak to anyone who may have information, or any CCTV or mobile phone footage.
They say they are also aware that members of the public bravely intervened during the attack. and want those people to get in touch.
