The University of Bolton say the support from the local community has been 'beautiful' since the fire at The Cube accommodation building on Bradshawgate last Friday.
Bosses at the uni say although they've had to stop accepting donations, they're still urging anyone with rucksacks and suitcases to bring them in.
Over 200 students were left with nearly nothing after a blaze ripped through a privately-owned accommodation block.
Other academic institutions from across the North West have offered their support with things like accommodation and finances.
Chancellor of the University George Holmes said:
"Every university within the region has been on the phone to me. This is how the sector works, it's massively supportive.
"We've had calls from every university offering accommodation, and even offering staff to be brought in to help."
Dedicated mental health support has also been dedicated to students affected by the disaster, which launched officially today.
