Three people charged in connection with Bolton murder

Three people have been charged in connection with the murder of a man in Bolton.

Greater Manchester Police tell us two men and a woman have been charged after a man was stabbed in Bolton on Friday 7th June.

Paul Simmons who's 48 and from Bradford Street has been charged with murder, while 31 year-old Jordan Downes of no fixed address has been charged with assisting an offender.

Kelly Hughes who's 37 and also of no fixed address has been charged with obstructing police

All three are due to appear before Bolton Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Another 40 year-old man also arrested has been released on bail while enquiries continue.

It comes after a 35 year-old man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed on Bradford Street in Bolton where he sadly died from his injuries.
