Thieves take £6 water bottle.

Two men approached the victim at 9.15pm on Monday 14th November, punching kicking and demanding money before stealing the £6 water bottle from the man.

One attacker has been described as skinny and the other with a large build. They both wore face coverings.

Detective Constable Phil Unsworth of GMP’s Bolton Borough said: “Masked thieves brutally attacked a man and, when they realised he had no cash, they took his £6 water bottle. Such mindless violence is unnecessary and unacceptable.”

He then went on to say: “Fortunately the man only sustained minor injuries, but that does not detract from the viciousness of this crime.”

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting incident number 2316 of 14/11/16, or Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
