Banyan Manchester Just inside the Corn Exchange, Banyan is a wonderfully stylish and relaxed spot for a date in Manchester. Open bright and early for a coffee, it’s stays open all day to host dinner dates and late-night cocktail sessions. We recommend filling up on homely and simple foods washed down with something stylish from their cocktail menu.

Walrus Dating can be expensive so why now stop by Walrus Bar before 8pm every day (except Saturday) and enjoy two cocktails for a tenner with that special someone. We'd recommend the indulgent sharing platters too and if you're looking to test out your dates rhythm then there's a DJ at the weekends.

**Montpellier's Montpellier's is a back street wine bar full with cosy nooks and crannies for getting up close and personal. With a sophisticated wine list and a great choice of French inspired food and rustic platters (ideal for two to share), Montpellier's is a great shout for couples in Manchester looking to try something a little different and off of the beaten track.

Noho One of our favourite and most diverse bars in Manchester, Noho is the perfect place for date night. With graffiti decor accompanying leather bound sofas, weekend DJs playing the best funk and soul there will be plenty to talk about so no awkward silences.

Frog & Bucket Comedy Club Want to make your date laugh but don't back your own banter? Why not let someone else help and take all the credit - head over to the Frog and Bucket Comedy Club for a night of side-splitting stand up. Entry prices are very reasonable (so you'll be able to treat your date to an interval drink) and the acts do all the hard work, leaving you to sit back, relax and enjoy the night and hopefully the company.
