Taylor Swift fans have taken to social media to share their feelings after their seat numbers for this weekend's gigs at the Etihad were changed.

Taylor's performing at Manchester City's stadium as part of her Reputation world tour tomorrow (Friday 8th June 2018) and Saturday (9th).

Sarah Day told Hits Radio Manchester the tickets were a present for her daughter:

"She was really shocked. Her birthday is not for a couple more weeks so this was an early present she wasn't expecting and let's be honest a lot more than I would normally spend on her for her birthday.

"She was absolutely amazed. She's never been to a big stadium before, she's a massive Taylor Swift fan and when she read that they were row A she was so excited she couldn't believe it.

Sarah told us about the moment her daughter found out she would be sitting further away from the stage:

"I wasn't going to tell her cause I thought I could fix it and then when I realised I wasn't going to be able to fix this I did tell her.

"She cried initially, she was quite upset, really really devastated but then actually she just went "Oh don't worry Mummy, we're going to have a great time anyway and I'm really lucky to go"'.

Sarah and her daughter are now appealing to event organisers or anyone else who can help to step in.

Hits Radio Manchester has asked TicketMaster for a statement or interview.
