The National Football Museum
The world’s biggest football museum has a number of exhibitions, such as the football walk of fame and a celebration of the many football greats over the years. Bonus is admission to the museum is free.
Manchester Arena
On Friday the 3rd of March watch the Kaiser Chiefs play live, this will be their first arena tour in two years. The X Factor Live 2017 will be presenting the final eight contestants on Saturday the 4th of March. Sunday the 5th March brings The Weeknd’s world tour and the first show of his UK tour to the Manchester Arena to perform his Starboy: Legend of the Fall.
Moss Bank Park
This park is great for kids with a number of great equipment for them to play on. There's a miniature railway ride and a crazy golf course or relax in the sensory garden which is run by the Lancashire Wildlife Trust.
Haigh Woodland Park
The recent ÂŁ12m revamp of the park now offers an adventure climbing area, tree houses, a crazy golf course.
There is also the Haigh High Ropes adventure that includes high up ropes and the low ropes which are great for smaller children.
