Outdoor, artisan food festival comes to Heaton Park

Manchester Eats will bring together and showcase Manchester’s vibrant and extensive food and drink scene all in one place in Heaton Park on 7th & 8th July.

Top class celebrity chefs such as Marco Pierre White and Matt Tebbutt will be doing food demonstrations as well as Q&A sessions. Also on the line up will be some of Manchester's high profile local chefs including Adam Reid, Ed Baines and Mary-Ellen Tague.

Free vegan and vegetarian cookery classes for not only vegan or vegetarians but anyone that is looking to reduce their meat intake. Visitors will learn how to make breakfast burritos or pulled BBQ jackfruit flatbread and much more.

Chocoholics can enjoy free chocolate workshops and learn how to make chocolate roses or learn champagne truffle rolling .

Manchester Eats has loads for kids to get involved with too. There's free cookery classes in the Kids Village where little ones can learn how to make a plaited soda bread or no baked cheesecake and loads more.

BBQ demo sessions with Manchester restaurant Reds True Barbecue, are the place to watch various pitmasters at work and pick up tips of how to cook the most succulent BBQ foods.

There’ll be an artisan market with so much to shop and try from lots of local food and drink producers. As well as local restaurants there will be a street food hub with plenty of different cuisines to try from around the world.

On top of all that the Hits Radio Street Team will be there with loads of fun and games.
