London Ambulance Service (LAS) has confirmed two people have been injured in separate incidents following strong winds from Storm Eunice.
A man was taken to hospital after being hurt by falling debris in Waterloo on Friday (18 February), just an hour after a man was struck by a tree in Streatham.
Emergency services were called at approximately midday after reports of a man being injured by “falling masonry” in Waterloo Road.
A LAS spokesperson said: "We sent an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, a team leader, an emergency planning and resilience officer, and members of our hazardous area response team.
“We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance.
"A man was treated at the scene and taken to a hospital as a priority."
Another man was taken to hospital with a head injury after being struck by a tree in Streatham, shortly before 11am.
No further details were available about either casualty.
