Two men charged over Dagenham shooting

Two men have been charged with a shooting in Dagenham.

Detectives investigating a shooting at Wren Road, Dagenham have charged two men as they continue to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

23 year old Luke Parr, of Dagenham was arrested on Monday, 10 June on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder. On Wednesday, 12 June he was charged with possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life and manufacturing firearms and ammunition. He is remanded in custody to appear at Barkingside Magistrates Court that same day.

23 year old Troy Eugene, of Barking was charged on Tuesday, 11 June with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of a firearm.

He appeared at Thames Magistrates Court that same day where he was remanded to appear at the Central Criminal Court on Tuesday, 9 July.

A 22 -year-old woman was arrested on 10 June on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm. She was bailed pending further enquiries.

This follows police being called at 13:06hrs on Wednesday, 5 June to reports of a person shot in Wren Road/Porters Avenue, Dagenham.

Officers and London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended.

At the scene they found a 23-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital where his injuries were not life threatening or life changing.
