Teenagers sentenced to life for Kelyan Bokassa murder
The 14-year-old was stabbed to death on a bus in Woolwich.
Two teenagers have been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of 14-year-old Kelyan Bokassa.
Kelyan was stabbed to death as he travelled on the 472 bus along Woolwich Church Road in Woolwich on the 7th of January 2025.
At a pre-trial hearing, the court heard how he had been stabbed 27 times. Despite efforts from the emergency services, Kelyan died at the scene.
The boys, who can not be named due to their ages, pleaded guilty to murder at the Old Bailey on the 23rd of May. They also admitted to carrying a bladed weapon.
The two boys have been sentenced to life with a minimum term of 15 years and 10 months each.
