Teenagers face murder trial over man who died month after Camden assault
Anthony Marks, 51, suffered seizures after leaving hospital following the alleged assault in August
A group including two teenage girls are facing trial for the murder of a 51-year-old man who died more than a month after being assaulted.
Anthony Marks was allegedly set upon in Whidborne Street, Camden, north London on Saturday August 10.
He was treated in hospital for three days before being discharged.
Two weeks later he suffered a seizure and was readmitted to hospital where he died on September 25.
Mia Campos-Jorge, 18, Harry Gittins, 35, and a girl and boy both aged 17, were charged with his murder.
The teenage boy was also charged with possessing an offensive weapon on August 10.
On Monday, the three teenage defendants appeared in the dock of the Old Bailey for a hearing before Judge Mark Dennis KC.
The judge set a plea hearing for February 17 next year and a provisional four-week trial from September 8.
Campos-Jorge, from Haringey, north London, Gittins, from Camden, and the two youths, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, have been remanded into custody.
