7th teen charged with Islington murder
He was fatally stabbed in August 2022.
A seventh teenager has been charged with the murder of 15-year-old of Deshaun James Tuitt in Islington in August 2022.
The 16-year-old was arrested on Friday, 16th of February and appeared at Thames Magistrates' Court on Saturday 17th. He will next appear at the Central Criminal Court on Tuesday, 20 February.
Deshaun's family have been informed.
Work continues to trace another male officers would like to speak to.
Deshaun was fatally stabbed in Highbury Fields, N5, shortly before 21:00hrs on Thursday, 4 August 2022.
Six other boys – all aged between 15 and 17 have all previously appeared in court charged with murder.
