Two London men jailed for child sex offences in Oxford
Ashley Mundee and Huseyin Ninnolar were both found guilty of sex crimes
Two men are starting prison sentences for committing sex offences against two children in Oxford.
Ashley Mundee, aged 22, and Huseyin Ninnolar, aged 23, will serve a total of nearly eight years in jail for sexually assaulting two 15-year-old girls and taking indecent images of children.
The charges relate to an incident on July 18th, 2024 where the men - from Enfield in London - met two girls in Oxford.
Mundee had groomed one of the girls online, encouraging the girl to meet - which she did, alongside a friend.
Together, Mundee and Ninnolar supplied the girls with alcohol and drugs before driving them to a secluded area where they sexually assaulted the teenagers.
Following the incident, the girls reported the crime to Thames Valley Police straight away and the men were arrested shortly after the assaults took place, being charged two days later.
In court, Mundee pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual activity with a child, while Ninnolar was found guilty on one count of taking indecent images of a child after a two-week trial at Oxford Crown Court.
Ninnolar was sentenced to three years and four months behind bars at a hearing in January.
Mundee, meanwhile was sentenced to four and a half years in prison during a sentencing hearing on Friday (March 14th).
Speaking on the case, Detective Constable Samuel Goodsell from Thames Valley Police said: "Both Ashley Mundee and Huseyin Ninnolar are predatory sex offenders.
“They travelled to Oxfordshire for the sole purpose of meeting their victims and carrying out the offences they have been convicted of.
“It was demonstrated in court that Mundee was well aware of his victims’ ages, but despite this carried out sexual activity with the children, which Ninnolar filmed.
“I would like to commend the victims for their bravery and for placing their trust in the force.
“If you are a victim of a sexual offence or have information about sexual offences please contact Thames Valley Police. We will listen and support you."
