A man has been charged with the murder of Josh McKay in Waltham Forest
2\9 year old Renai Belle, of Edmonton was charged on Wednesday, 10 July with the murder of Josh McKay and possession of a bladed article.
He's appearing in custody today, Wednesday, 10 July, at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court.
Police were called shortly before 15:00hrs on Saturday, 6 July to reports of a man stabbed on Lea Bridge Road, E10.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, 33-year-old Josh McKay died at the scene.
His family continue to be supported by specialist officers.
Paying tribute in a statement they said: “The heart of our family has stopped beating. The World is less bright without his beautiful smile.”
A 38-year-old woman arrested on Sunday, 7 July on suspicion of assisting an offender is currently bailed pending further enquiries.
