Man charged with fatal stabbing in north London
The victim died in hospital after being stabbed in Enfield.
A 21-year-old has been charged with the murder of a man who was stabbed to death in north London.
Kozma Papa, from Yate, near Bristol, will appear at Willesden Magistrates' Court on Tuesday. He's accused of killing a 37-year-old man in Queen Elizabeth's Drive, Enfield, just after 2pm on Sunday.
The victim was taken to hospital but died later that day.
At the time, Detective Chief Superintendent Caroline Haines, the senior Met officer responsible for policing Enfield and Haringey, said: “This is a shocking incident that will no doubt cause concern to the community. I share those concerns, and I can assure local people that dedicated detectives are investigating and we are working at pace with partner organisations to establish exactly what happened and who was responsible."
Papa was arrested in a car that was stopped in Hertfordshire later on Sunday.
A second man, aged 30, who was arrested as part of the investigation has been released with no further action.
