Man appears in court for US Embassy bomb hoax
An improvised explosive device was found at the embassy on November 22nd.

A man charged with a bomb hoax outside the US embassy in London has appeared in court.
Daniel Parmenter allegedly placed a device that resembled an improvised explosive device at the embassy in Nine Elms, south-west London, on November 22.
The 43-year-old, of Kildare Terrace, Bayswater, west London, appeared by video link from HMP Wormwood Scrubs at the Old Bailey on Friday where counsel discussed legal matters.
Parmenter was arrested two days later.
According to the Metropolitan Police, officers were called to reports of a suspicious package at the embassy at 8.40am that Friday and a controlled explosion was carried out.
Parmenter will next appear at the same court on December 20.
