London Eye opens its pantomime in the sky
One of the 32 pods will receive a theatre makeover fitted with velvet seats, lighting, and a miniature stage
A Christmas pantomime performance will take place on the lastminute.com London Eye today.
The ‘Christmas Panto Pod’ will see one of the attraction’s 32 pods given a complete magical theatre-style makeover – decked out with velvet seats, spotlights, and mini stage, all with a festive twist creating an intimate theatre, 135m above the London skyline.
Guests will be treated to the official Panto experience, as they sit back and watch the performance of London based Dick Whittington, performed by the stars of the world-famous Phoenix Arts Club of London’s West End in an exclusive and intimate atmosphere.
Pod goers will join Dick Whittington and his cat on his journey to and through the gold paved city of London, as he and his cat grow their riches and success through kindness.

The Christmas Panto Pod runs from Wednesday 14 to Sunday 18 December 2022.

Each experience lasts 30 minutes, including a 25-minute performance of Dick Whittington.
