Animals at London Zoo are getting into their spook-tacular spirits as Halloween fast approaches.

This year, Lion cubs and meerkats are enjoying playing with pumpkins as the conservation zoo celebrate the spooky season.

Throughout half term several events are taking place, offering Halloween fun to visitors and for their 10,000 animals from marching leafcutter ants to giant silverback gorillas.

Hand carved pumpkins feature for the animals this year, with zoo keeper offering the tasty treat to a seven-month-old Asiatic lion cub and the zoo's resident meerkats.
