Former Gogglebox star issues warning after being followed in London

Former Gogglebox star, Scarlett Moffatt has issued a tearful warning on instagram, saying she was followed by a stranger in London.

It was after she'd posted about a trip to the Capital and was then met by a stranger at King's Cross station who told her he was going to take her to his home. She said he continued to follow her despite her attempts to walk away.

The 31-year-old advised her followers not to share their locations online in real time and praised station staff who saw what was happening and escorted her to her hotel safely. She said;

"I've never even thought of this before, but please please be careful about what you're posting. I hope this is a reminder to remember not to post locations in real time on social media and be really careful with giving away too much private information online."
