14 year old boy fatally stabbed in Newham
Police have launched a murder investigation
A murder investigation has been launched following the fatal stabbing of a 14 year old boy in Newham.
Officers and the London Air Ambulance attended reports of an assault on Barking Road just before 4pm this afternoon.
There they found a 14-year-old male who had been stabbed, but despite the best efforts of the emergency services, he was pronounced dead shortly after 16:30pm.
A crime scene is in place and we are told the public can expect to see an increased police presence in the area.
Enquiries are ongoing and there have been no arrests.
