Detectives with the Metropolitan Police have issued an appeal to urgently help them find the family of an 18-year-old who was fatally stabbed on Monday.

Issa Ali Musa Abdulrahman Barakat was found injured around 6am on Monday on Laitwood Road. He was taken to hospital but sadly died later the same day.

On Monday, 21-year-old Salah Al-Mahmoodi, known as Salah Ahmed, was arrested.

Ahmed, from Wandsworth, was charged with Issa's murder the following day and is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court today.

Detectives have now issued an appeal to find Issa's family, as they say it's "devastating to think his family may not yet know of his tragic passing".

Officers want to locate them to offer support and answers.

Issa was a member of the Chadian community, which is something Detectives believe might help in locating his loved ones.
