The parents of Caitlin Huddleston who was killed in a horror crash in Cumbria have raised hundreds of pounds for the charity that supported them after losing their daughter.
18-year-old Caitlin died in July 2017 when the car she was a passenger in was involved in collision.
Her mum Sharron is now leading calls for a Graduated Driving Licence to be introduced in the UK so that young people can get more experience behind the wheel once they pass their test. 'Caitlin's Campaign' has already got the backing of some of Britain's top road safety research teams, police and politicians, as well as the public, with hundreds signing a petition calling for change.
To mark National Road Victims month, and Sharron turning 50, she and husband Mike decided to climb Scafell Pike, asking people to donate to help raise money for Brake.
So far they've raised a massive £2000
Caitlin's case will be mentioned as part of evidence being delivered to the Transport Commitee next month.
