Last weekend, Manchester was transformed into a city full of energy, music and all-round fun, at Manchester Pride 2019. Hits Radio were right in the thick of it, interviewing many of the celebrities who were there over the weekend, as well as meeting members of the public who were enjoying the celebrations.

Hits Radio presenter Jordan Lee joined many of the artists including, Louisa, who told him why Manchester Pride was so special to her. Still dressed in her incredible stage outfit, Louisa said it's all about celebrating love and celebrating being yourself.

Becky Hill also spoke to Jordan about the break up that inspired her single 'Wish You Well', a collaboration with Sigala. She told Jordan that the break up happened just two days after her birthday (which is Valentine's Day)! The singer admitted it's still a bit messy.

Meanwhile, 'All About Tonight' singer, Pixie Lott revealed the reason why she was getting piggybacks around Manchester Pride! Pixie, who likes to perform barefoot, turned up to our interview being carried by an understanding friend.

Jordan was also lucky enough to grab some time with the some of the cast of the new TV show, RuPaul's Drag Race UK. He sat down with Scaredy Kat, Vinegar Strokes, Cheryl Hole, Davina De Campo and Blu Hydrangea to play Never Have I Ever...

Over the weekend we also spoke to breakthrough artist Kim Petras, who told Jordan what it was like to have such amazing fans. The German singer has teamed up with Cheat Codes in the past on their song 'Feeling of Falling'.
