Teenagers arrested following stabbing in Liverpool

Two teenagers have been arrested following a stabbing in Liverpool.

A man was found with serious injuries to his chest in Wavertree on Tuesday night (14 January).

Police were called to reports of an attack in Bishopgate Street at around 18:00GMT, and arrested an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man a short time later.

The man, who is also 19, has injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.

Officers are asking to speak to any witnesses.
