Women injured after collision in St Helens

Emergency services attended a serious collision in St Helens yesterday with one person injured.

The incident occurred just before midday on Rainford Bypass to the junction near St Helens road at around 25 to 12 yesterday morning - where two cars where involved.

One woman was taken to hospital but her injuries aren't thought to be life threatening.

Merseyside Police confirmed their enquiries were ongoing to find out what happened.
