Memorial service to be held for Everton icon Kevin Campbell

He sadly passed away earlier this year at the age of 54

The life and legacy of Everton legend Kevin Campbell will be celebrated at a memorial service later this month.

The service, which will be attended by Kevin's wife Fay and other family members, will be held at St Luke's Church on Goodison Road at 2pm on Wednesday 18 September.

All fans are invited to attend too.

Kevin played 164 times for Everton, scoring 51 goals. He was also named the club's first black captain in 2001.

Special tributes were paid before the recent home game against Bournemouth.

The club says all fans are invited 'to pay their respects to a man whose love for Everton Football Club never dimmed.'
