Body of man pulled from Marine Lake in Southport

A police investigation has begun after a man's body was pulled from a lake in Southport.

Emergency services were called to Marine Lake at around 18:45BST on Tuesday (September 10).

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are now working to identify him and an investigation is underway.
