Man, 25, due in court accused of murdering Rikki Berry in Kirkby

A 25-year-old man is due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court accused of murdering Rikki Berry in Kirkby.

Mr Berry, who was 36, died in hospital after being shot on Quarryside Drive on Wednesday 17 July.

Adam Williams, of Bigdale Drive in Kirkby, is charged with murder.

Williams was remanded in custody after appearing at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Friday, and is due to appear before a crown court judge on Monday afternoon.

A 24-year-old man of no fixed abode and a 21-year-old woman from Kirkby, who were both arrested in connection with Mr Berry's death, have been bailed pending further enquiries.
