Man dies after crash between e-bike and bus in Runcorn
Police were called to the collision on Halton Lodge Avenue on Monday night (27 October)
A man has died in hospital following a crash between a bus and an electric bike in Runcorn.
Emergency services were called to Halton Lodge Avenue at around 19:35GMT on Monday night (27 October).
The rider of the bike, a man in his 30s, was found seriously injured and pronounced dead at the scene.
Sergeant Amy Hollis, from Cheshire Police, said: “Our thoughts are with the rider’s family at this time, who are currently being supported by specialist officers.
“Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing, and as part of our investigation we’re keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone with any dashcam footage.
“The same goes for any residents with any CCTV or doorbell footage which may aid the investigation.”
