Man arrested on suspicion of pretending to be police officer in Birkenhead
The 37-year-old has also been questioned on suspicion of drug offences
A man has been arrested on suspicion of impersonating a police officer at a club in Birkenhead.
It follows an incident at the club in which a man reportedly claimed to be an officer and having a warrant card.
The 37-year-old who is from Ellesmere Port was arrested in the Wirral and has also been questioned on suspicion of Class A drug offences.
He has been released on bail as investigations continue.
