Four re-arrested in West Derby murder investigation
Paul Foster was fatally stabbed in October 2024
Four people have been re-arrested on suspicion of the murder of a 47-year-old grandfather in West Derby a year ago.
Paul Foster, 47, was found with a puncture wound in a property on Muirhead Avenue, at around 1:40am on Tuesday 15 October 2024.
He was taken to hospital, but was pronounced dead.
The four people re-arrested on suspicion of murder are:
- A 26-year-old man from Liverpool
- A 49-year-old man from Liverpool
- A 60-year-old man from Liverpool
- A 40-year-old woman from Liverpool
Detective Chief Inspector Steve McGrath said:
"Our investigation into Paul’s death is progressing and these arrests form part of our ongoing inquiries.
"Although we have re-arrested four people, we are still appealing for any information as we are determined to get answers for Paul’s family."
