A woman has died following a collision in Lincoln

A woman has died following a collision in Lincoln which involved two vehicles.

It happened on the A15 Eastern Bypass yesterday just before 5pm between Wragby Road and Greetwell Road (Monday 22nd April).

Two vehicles involved were a silver Kia Ceed, which was travelling southbound towards Greetwell Road and a Black Range Rover travelling northbound towards Wragby Road.

The driver of the Kia Creed, a 67-year-old woman died after being taken to hospital.

Her family have been informed and will be supported by specially trained officers.

The driver of the Range Rover was not seriously injured.

Lincolnshire Police have said:

"We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has video footage of the collision or the vehicles travelling along the A15 to get in touch.
