Two members of staff have reportedly been assaulted following a robbery in Wragby
Police were called to the Coop on Lincoln Road around ten o clock last night
Police remained in Wragby today after staff from a store were reportedly assaulted last night.
Officers attended calls of a robbery taking place at the Co Op on Lincoln Road shortly after 10 in the evening.
Two men are believed to have taken cigarettes and cash.
The two workers did not suffered any serious injuries.
Lincolnshire Police said its Force Control Room received a call at 10.09pm last night, reporting that two members of staff had been assaulted by two men as they were closing the store.
The description they say they're currently working with is of two white men with skinny builds, dressed all in black, and one had an Irish accent.
If you were driving in and around that area between 9.50pm and 10.20pm and you have a dashcam, Police have asked for you to check your footage.
They say "this is a very concerning incident".
The store is closed while detectives and staff from our forensic team carry out examinations of the scene.
