Two men charged after reported stabbing on Spencer Avenue in Scunthorpe

A third man has also been arrested as police continue their investigation

Police in Scunthorpe have charged two men and arrested a third after reports of a stabbing on Spencer Avenue late on Tuesday, 23rd September 2025.

Officers were called to the scene at approximately 10.10pm.

Bradley Caldicott, an 18-year-old from Peacock Street in Scunthorpe has been charged with grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article.

Jaskeerat Mahi, a 20-year-old of no fixed abode, has been charged with attempted wounding, possession of a bladed article and taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent.

Both men have been conditionally bailed and are due to appear before Grimsby Magistrates’ Court at a later date.

A further 19-year-old man has also been arrested in connection with the incident. He remains in police custody where he is assisting officers with their enquiries.
